The Tao of Pooh

by Benjamin Hoff

a review by Miriam Devlin

I believe that books do not need to be complicated to be good.

The book The Tao of Pooh represents this perfectly. It is not difficult to read, but explains some very interesting ideas in a humorous way.

One of these is the concept of P'u, the uncarved block. This stands for the fact that things are best when they are not changed from their original form. For example, who is to say a tree is better as a table?
